I am holding my own. The diagnosis was a bacterial infection in my kidney. The pain is just residual and should be going away soon.
We are watching my appendix because it is enlarged. I’m going to be contacting the surgeon about whether I need to have it removed before returning to Papua.

We do have our resident “Cliff Clayborne”, but I’ll let it go at that. Not everyone agrees with my assessment. /snarky comment.
Well, the last two just didn’t like breathing. Everything would be going fine and then they would just quit. They turned totally blue. Twice on JT I even started CPR. In hindsight, I didn’t need to but at the time, it was really scary.
I’ll tell the stories later, but to skip to the endings, JT grew out of his problems and the youngest was miraculously healed (much to the doctors’ consternation - it happened before they could get a definite diagnosis).
Oh bev, I envy you, a cool night, a couple logs on the fire and off to bed. When I do that, I turn down the thermostat, put a couple logs on the fire, Roomey gripes, sit and watch the fire, fall asleep, wake up a couple/three hours later, then, sigh, turn on the lamp and read, then fall asleep again, until 0400/0500 hours,then up and running.
I’m heading off to bed now.
