Howard Dean: McCain campaign appeals to the "worst in human beings"
Seattle Times ^ | 9-14-08

RENTON (WA)— Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean told Barack Obama supporters Saturday that Washington needs a huge Obama victory to "carry" into office Democrats whose wins are less certain.

Specifically, he mentioned Gov. Christine Gregoire, who is in a tight race with Republican challenger Dino Rossi, and Democrat Darcy Burner, who is challenging U.S. Rep. Dave Reichert in the 8th Congressional District.

Dean, a 2004 presidential candidate and former governor of Vermont, gave an impassioned speech to a crowd of Democrats packed into the Renton Carpenters Hall. The crowd cheered madly as Dean told them the McCain campaign appeals to the "worst in human beings" while Obama appeals to the best.

McCain campaign appeals to the "worst in human beings"

I know this is just Howard Dean doing what he does best - making a complete fool of him self by putting down over half of America, but good God statements like that should not go unpunished.

Or do you mean this?

Cheers!

What’s Howie been up to these days? I haven’t heard anything out of him for quite a while. I guess he had to throw out the gratuitous snide remark so everyone will know that he’s still around. Sorry Howie, The One’s campaign is what appeals to the “worst in human beings.” Google: Palin, Wasilla, Trig Palin, Bristol Palin.

The ex-Mayor of Vermont speaks! Wow. How presumptuous of him to run for president and then get named chairman of the DNC. VT has 1.5% minorities and the total population of a medium sized city. The whole state would fit inside Denali park with a couple of thousand square miles to spare. He obviously isn’t qualified for a national office........

>>>>>... Dean told them the McCain campaign appeals to the "worst in human beings" while Obama appeals to the best.

Cutting and running from a fight is not in keeping with the spirit of America. Campaigning on increasing taxes and the size of government is not in keeping with the original intent of the Constitution. And promoting the killing of unborn children is inhuman.

Howard Dean remains an idiot.

What? Did Howie french kiss Biden last night and steal his tongue? This is great stuff. So instead of losing by 8-10% Howie wants to go down in a hellfire of backlash?

I'm thinking of sending a $1 to the Seattle Times and explaining that I wanted to thank them for printing this piece.

This coming from the former guv of a state that proudly elected this nation’s first (and only) avowed Socialist.

The same state that approved a resolution to secede (Whoopi!!) from the U.S..

One other note about this story: He had 400 people? The head of the DNC attracts only 400 people in Liberal Washington, just 15 min away from one of the most Leftist cities on the West Coast? My church in Renton WA had more than that this morning.

In the same speach he said this: “Putting people first instead of country first is really the way to go.”

Oh I get it now. Putting Liberal people first and the other half of the country Dean calls the “worst in human beings”.

There you go again Howie with that projection you love to do!*sarcasm* The internals on the dems must be looking bad for him to try to herd them all back to Obama?

McCain campaign appeals to the "worst in human beings"

While I do not for a moment think that anything Howard Dean says has any more value than a pile of steaming dog do, this statement could be made right with just two changes: "Democrats appeal to the worst human beings."

Wow. Two laughs in the first two lines: “Howard Dean” and “Seattle Times.” Gotta be a personal record.
