Sorry everybody. mainepatsfan usually posts the Live Thread and did not do it this morning.
I threw together something quick so we could have a thread—
I guess the Brady injury may have sent MPF over the edge, hopefully he will return! LOL
Alright...have at it- ;)-

I hope the Browns show up tonight. With the Brady injury I would put the Steelers as the AFC favorite right now.
The Browns looked horrible last week.

As a Lions fan it’s nice to know that I can free up my Sunday afternoons fairly quickly into the season. 21-0, Green Bay in the 2nd quarter.

Wow, The Lions are probably the worst team in the NFL now.
Every year it sees like they are getting better but it is not happening. They need to fire management and get somebody good in there real quick.

When I try to measure my loyalty factor I only have to consider that after 39 years of life and 5 states later, I am still a Lion’s fan.
Or a masochist. Can’t decide.

Watching the same here in NW Indiana....but more importantly, I’m watching the water rise. With two previous days of rain and now the remains of IKE the H2O is on the rise. Over the curb and covering the front lawn now.

The Colts looks like a team that just got old overnight.

And knowing the Lions, they’ll probably go ahead and extend Millen’s contract.

I'm watching the Colts/Vikings game as well. The Colts are really off—Manning is not in tune with the receivers.
Go Vikings!

You can’t miss that much time working with your offense and not miss a beat. I expect that they will get it sorted out as the season progresses. Consider this his pre-season but the games count in the standings.

If the Vikings had a professional offense they’d have blown the Colts out of the stadium by now.

Exactly ,Hopefully the lose 3 or 4 before they get it together.Indy will be a major playoff contender when the season ends, lets just hope any chance of home field is lost these first few weeks.

Their defense isn’t good enough to withstand good ground attacks. Speed is good when you are ahead but eat 35 rushing attempts with a battering ram FB/HB combo and those undersized guys will get worn down. They also have problems against teams with faster LBs and SD seems to have their number.
