Watch this video and maybe we can all understand how China win these medals.

Frankly, this is disgusting beyond words. No gold medal is worth this. I don't think I can ever watch Gymnastics again that involve China.

What is the gist of the video?

I am at work and am denied access to youtube. I have no internet at home, thanks to Telekom and their refusal to fix the problem. We are presently looking for another provider.

Little kids whose training regiments would get all the coaches arrested and thrown in jail for child abuse in any civilized country.

It shows cruelty. How the children train, how they are pushed, how they are stretched in unnatural ways and how they cry.

All the while they know they can't really quit. The security of their families rests on their shoulders.

I agree with the OP. It's not worth it.

An interesting comment from the the youtube site -- someone accuses China of "torture" for the brutal training methods used on these little children. Someone else (a defender of China) comments back and is outraged -- they say that "torture is when you kill someone. These kids are not being killed".

A very weird comment.

Probably not for a Chinese.

Fits in with the stories about the girls who just “won” in the Olympics.

That talk of how the girls’ parents were “outraged” about the accusations of being underage? The 13 year old (one of the ones who still doesn’t have her 12 year molars) kind of ruined that when she was asked in an interview where here parents were to congratulate her, and she answered that she hadn’t seen them in over a year and didn’t know if they were even watching.
