See the home-made recipe at Post #80 for his “BAM!” seasoning. :) Love him.

“My sister tried to make several of her recipes (she loves her), and they turned out really, really bad.”
I might suggest that your sister’s cooking is the problem!
I think Paula is great. Try her dessert recipees. The orange brownies are kick a$$.
I was trying to think of Nigella. I also like her.
I can not stand the Barefoot Contessa. She is so over weight, she gets out of breath cracking pepper or moving from the stove to the cutting board. She starts weezing. I think she needs to be riding on a hoverround and on oxygen!

I agree with everything you just said. Ina Garten is just awful.
I even dislike her friends and I have never meet them.

Did I mention that my wife calls Giada a “bird faced whore”? Then when she take a bit of anything, my wife makes a vomiting noise to suggest that Giada runs off camera and throws everything back up to stay so thin.
I think I need to have a long talk with her about her Anti-Giada stance.

I looked at the recipe she followed, and the proportions seemed “off” to me (too much liquid in the soup, for example, to the amount of veggies and potatoes), and not nearly enough herbs and spices for my taste. Also, I leafed through a couple of her cookbooks that someone had for sale at one of our neighborhood rummage sales, and nothing stuck out for me as being something I just HAD TO try. It’s all a matter of taste, and everybody likes something different, I guess.

I like Gordon Ramsay. His Kitchen Nightmares are eyeopeners when you see the filth in some commercial kitchens. Yuck.

I saw the tirade that she went on regarding your affection for Giada. She is VERY jealous of Giada. Giada is gorgeous.

Say what you will about Rachael Ray, but the jaunty chef-next-door
knows how to build a brand.
Yeah.
Amazing the amount of cash you can pile up with shyster marketing.
I had to write a "cease-and-desist" letter to the billing section
of "Every Day With Rachael Ray" magazine for my aged mother after
she got two billing notices...and she's never subscribed or
even had a copy of the mag in her possession.
