Just want to add this...Giada’s husband makes her clothes. I have read that a couple of different places...just thought I would sprinkle that on...

Shout-out for Ming Tsai - speaks slowly and clearly, his fusion recipes are good but sometimes a little too complicated for me. Plus he is quite pleasant to look at./Just Asking - seoul62.....

I could think of a few things to post, but will refrain. :)

One of the only times I saw him clean his plate was when he ate barebecued ribs in a Brighton restaurant run by an American ex-pat.

I love watching his Nightmares show on the BBC. I did see the black lady running the soul food restaurant in London.

I'm hoping to be able to get out to Southern Cal this Fall and check out his restaurant in LA. I hope it does well out there.

the London West Hollywood is one heckuva property.

Full disclosure- the property owner for this hotel, the London New York and the Boca Resort (where Ramsay has another restaurant) is a client I do a lot of work for, so I’m not an objective observer, per se.

I love Rachel Ray... however, doing four shows a day is a little much and doesn’t leave much time for family.

Are you mixing her up with Ina Garten? Garten used to work for Carter and raves about him all the time.

She worked for the Ford Whitehouse something to do with the Nuclear Budget.

Paula Deen: now there’s a woman who grates on me, whenever she says “romantical”, and I think her recipes are terrible. My sister tried to make several of her recipes (she loves her), and they turned out really, really bad.

I like Nigella Lawson, Alton Brown, and Gordon Ramsey best.

I like Rachel in small doses. Her magazine is pretty good. I pick them up from the FREE bin at the Library, so I’m not doing much to help her bottom line. I don’t think she needs my help!

When Husband was laid up with his surgeries, he became a total Food TV Junkie. (Husband was a Chef for 10 years at some very upscale restaurants. His best friend owns one of the BEST restaurants in Wisconsin.)

So, I’d be at work (supporting us at the time while he was recovering) and I’d get a call around 3:00pm nearly EVERY day to, “bring home real cream, two lobster tails, some shallots, caviar and fresh, mixed greens.”

Luckily, since I held the purse-strings and he couldn’t get out of the house, that didn’t happen, LOL!

I like Emeril. I find him fun to watch and I use his “BAM!” seasoning in just about anything I make.

Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients:

* 3 tablespoons paprika
* 2 tablespoons salt
* 2 tablespoons dried parsley
* 2 teaspoons onion powder
* 2 teaspoons garlic powder
* 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 1 teaspoon dried oregano
* 1 teaspoon dried basil
* 1 teaspoon dried thyme
* 1/2 teaspoon celery salt

Place paprika, salt, parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, oregano, basil, thyme, and celery salt in a mixing bowl. Stir well to combine, using a wooden spoon. Store in an airtight container for up to three months.
