That would be like choosing between one’s children.
Among hard core Floydheads, it is general agreed that their best album was WYWH.

My CD collection...made up of commercial CDs and ones I've burned.About 4,500 songs in all.Mostly rock, pop and folk...with a smattering of other things thrown in.Lots of Fifties...tons of Sixties....some Eighties.
That's it....nothing else.

Vinyl from the 50’s, 60’s and early 70’s. After that rock turned to the dark side.

This is my daughter’s fav song at the moment:

3 Days Grace. We love that we have music in common.
It’s funny. I’m in the FRG (Family Readiness Group) here at Ft. Hood. I’m the 1st Sgt’s wife and a homey homemaker.
When the other wives find out what I listen to there’s nothing but stunned silence and wide eyes. [g]

I tend to agree that WYWH was the best.
And listen to it often!
I also recently acquired the movie DVD of “The Wall” For it’s sheer sonic and emotional impact, it’s pretty dam far up there!
Saw Floyd on their Wall tour back in the mid 80’s in the Kingdome. Best concert soundwise I ever heard, they had strategically placed speaker setups right out in the seats and the sound was going round and round, not to mention the echo and timing effects.
But NOPE! Although Floyd has two or three of the top ten slots, they are not my noninee for Best Prog Rock album EVER.

Among hard core Floydheads, it is general agreed that their best album was WYWH. What?!?! You mean they didn't choose "The Final Cut."

The Final Cut has some nice tracks, but it is really a Roger Waters solo album.

Vinyl from the 50s, 60s and early 70s. Vinyl? Ugggh! With CDs you get better sound (usually *much* better),no pops or clicks (yah,I know, that's how we originally heard it),no storage/use hassles (space-wise or care-wise) and you can play them again...and again....and again....
After that rock turned to the dark side.
To the "dark side" or the "cr*p side".

10,000 Maniacs...our time in eden... "Because The Night" from their "Unplugged" album is just about the finest live performance I've ever heard.

To answer the question more directly...."Mr Tambourine Man" by The Byrds.

I kind of like the crackles and pops plus I have many records with art that you can't get on CD.
To the "dark side" or the "cr*p side".There's a difference?
