This is unofficial censorship by the bookseller. I suggest you write to the local Barnes and Noble managment and the national management complaining about this and use the word ‘censorship’ so they know how seriously you consider it.

I know there are conservatives in SF because that’s where Michael Savage is based, so there must be a market for the book. There is no excuse for only having one copy on the shelf, unless the book is nearly sold out.

By the way, how’s the book?

When Rush published his first books, callers called in with very funny stories about where they found his book hidden in stores. I see things haven’t changed.

I was at *gasp* Walmart today buying school supplies for the kiddos and I went down the book aisle to see if there was anything interesting. I saw that there was an obama book and a McCain book side by side. I decided that I would act a little naughty and covered the obama book with the McCain book. Funny though, of all the times that I have been on the book aisle or even in a book store I RARELY ever see any of the people who give obama 90% of their support. I wonder what they are buying instead.

It’s #5 at Amazon .. behind 2 editions of the latest Rowling book. Not bad for only being out a day. Booksellrs like B&N will go follow the MSM to its own demise.

Whaddya expect from B&B?

They sponsored Bill Ayers book tour after 9/11.

CEO Leonard Riggio has donated to Hillary, Kerry, Rangel, and other idiots over the years.

I asked for the Ron Paul book at Barnes & Noble. Accordding to their computer, they had several copies but none could be found on the shelves. I finally had a clerk “go fetch.” She found it on a table of “sale” books.

BTW, it’s a pretty good book.

Four years ago, there were several threads about B&B either hiding or not stocking Corsi’s “Unfit for Command.”

Here’s one of those threads:

> We would be living in a Hugo Chavez dictatorship.

It came to that in Chile and Pinochet put an end to it. Methinks the military would trump the socialist secret police again.

They do that all the time. Give up the fight and buy on Amazon. If you are disturbed enough, when in B&N go to the magazine section, shake out the Time and Newsweak subscription littler cards and drop in the mail for recycling. All you can do.

You shouldn’t have bought it there but gone somewhere else. Why give them your custom? The hip pocket is the only way to get through in these situations.

You got to realize that your average book store worker is living off of a trust fund. They have probably been attending college for the last 20 years majoring in liberal arts.

I stopped patronizing stores like this.

In any case remember, when they hide the book, you can always go to the front and ask for it in a loud voice. Some people, like Ann Coulter and Savage, take pleasure in naming their books “fun to ask for” titles.

Just go to the front desk, and ask for, in a loud voice, “Where are the copies of ‘Liberalism is a Mental Disorder?”

This censorship- this blackoout on anything anti-Obama is getting really, really scary.
What is this becoming, Russia?

Today I found one of my favorite sites for reference material in my internet war on Obama was discontinued.
It had a sign up ‘We do not uphold racial discrimination’ or something like that.
They never did. All they did was report the facts.

I talk to one of the managers at the local BN. He says all the ordering comes out of New York but they can always selectively order in addition.

At our local Barnes and Noble it was on the first table inside teh door. But then I’m lucky to live in an area with more conservatives than other parts of SoCal.

I will have to go out and buy the book. I bet its going to be a best seller. Does he deal with the issue of campaign contributions? I know there was another thread dealing with donations to Obama from Rafah,GA. yes there is no Rafah GA but there is a Rafah in the Gaza strip in Israel. Hmmm How did the Obama Campaign take donations from the Middle east? When will the Federal Election Commission take a look at this on their own web site!

I walked into a Borders book store in Madison, Wisconsin shortly before the 2004 election. They might as well have posted a Kerry Headquarters sign outside the store there were so much anti-Bush literature plastered around the store.
