Well, you know chasing them with dogs was so cruel it was outlawed in many western states, so the same people who gave money to the HSUS to help end this cruel practice are probably whining now for someone to do something about them losing their fear of all things human.

Yes, when they outlawed running cougars with dogs is when the cougars became a problem in rural areas. I lived in one of those rural areas in OR when the initiative was passed in the 90’s and can speak first hand to it.
