WASHINGTON - This Easter Sunday, the holiest day of the Christian calendar, many pastors will start their sermons about the Resurrection of Jesus and weave in a pointed message about racism and bigotry, and the need to rise above them.

I would get up and leave this sermon on Easter. I would then immediately find a new church.

I wonder how many pastors will be spewing hateful, racist, garbage--like that which Senator B. (whose middle name must NEVER be spoken) Obama has admitted to sitting through.

I wonder why he didn't comment on the effect vile trash like that had on his kids,,,and how racist venom like that effects black youth in general!!

If you want to further polarize and divide this country along racial lines,,,

Senator B. (whose middle name must NEVER be spoken) Obama and his nasty, angry, bitter, anti-American wife,,,,and his racist, anti-American 'close friend' and 'spiritual advisor'....

are the RIGHT PEOPLE AT THE RIGHT TIME!!!

I have never walked out of church before, but if my pastor did this, I would not stay. I too would walk out . . . especially considering the significance of Easter. This is not the place or the time to make political-racial statements. Shame on any pastor that does something like this!

NYT just continues their Obama lovefest.

I am so happy print media is losing money. These clowns can go out and find real jobs.

There is no place in the 50 states that already hold Easter service. Only the Vigil Service. And NYT already knew what will be preached on Easter Sunday? More likely they frame the question into something like, “You are going to discuss the new Messiah’s speech, aren’t you?”

Easter Sunday sermons should focus on Jesus’ resurrection, which has nothing to do with race relations.

If Barack Obama thinks that the heart of problem of racial animosity in America is white grandmothers who fear for their safety while passing black men on the street, he does not understand the problem.

If Obama does not understand the problem, he will introduce the wrong solutions and, instead of healing our society, he will exacerbate the divisions.

Obama has already shown a propensity to use race and class issues to further his campaign.

“It is nighttime in America,” Dr. Forbes said, “and I want to bring a word of encouragement.”

Oh, good grief. I'd get up and walk out if my pastor said this. "Nighttime in America"? What cr*p. We are the greatest nation in the history of the planet, and the hope of the rest of the world.

We know the effect it's had on his wife - Americans are mean; she's finally and for the first time proud of her country; etc. Rancorous and nasty.

I heard excerpts from the new pastor at BHO’s church. He compared former pastor Wright’s ordeals to the crucifixion of Christ.
