Nope. American 30 calibers are different than the foreign ones.
While I did amend my statement slightly in post number 102, my information comes from The Speer Rifle and Pistol Reloading Manual Number 12, page 329-332.

Well, my book says american 30 calibers are either .308”, .3085”, or .309”. The british 303 is .312”
And they are not interchangeable.
