Afghanistan’s Shame March 7, 2008.
Every country has at least one person who will go down in history as an utter disgrace. For Afghanistan, that person is Adnan Ghalib.
Why is he a disgrace? Well, for one thing, he impregnated Britney Spears. [I’ll pause while you clear the vomit from your mouth.] The Afghan-Brit, who is occasionally misidentified as Pakistani-Brit, is the paparazzi photographer who has been “dating” Ms. Spears for the last while. Also, there is a war and humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan. But never mind! Who cares? Back to Britney and her Afghan bacha-dost.
This led Al Arabiya to posit that Britney may convert to Islam to please her Catholic regalia-wearing “Muslim” baby-daddy. This story led to much bemusement by Muslim bloggers. Personally, I think this is a plan to destroy Islam. And I, as a generous Christian, would welcome Britney leaving Christianity.
But wait. Who’s the other guy in the blue shirt? Why, that’s Osama. Yes, Osama. Think I’m joking? That’s her new manager Osama “Sam” Lutfi. You just can’t make this stuff up.
Well, that’s enough of that. That all took me about 15 minutes. And I want those minutes back.
If I were him, I’d get myself checked out. That garage door has been open for many cars.

Okay, I don’t give a rip about dumb-a## Britney and her issues, but I am sick and tired of Hollyweird skanks and scumbags like this wearing the cross, thinking it means something, when it doesn’t.

I understand what you are saying, but what is more disturbing to me is a Democrat saying they are Christian and murdering babies, extolling homosexuality, and forbidding even the discussion of God in the public forum.
I'm also disgusted with Dems saying they love America while burning the flag, saying they support the troops while trying their best to lose the war and protesting them outside their recruiters and in schools. The reason abortion and homosexuality are so prevalent in the national conversation, I think, is because even a Christian newcomer should be able to have enough discernment to recognize how absurd it is to claim Christ and support these things. We have already gone through the cleaning of adultery and fornication to the point nobody is even concerned when it happens in your own church. And of course, when caught, everybody lies, so what's the problem? If you say it's a sin, they say "who are you to judge?"
I have talked about Christians losing their salt, and becoming lukewarm, and I am accused of being "judgmental". Many that claim Christ don't even know what losing their salt and being lukewarm means. Pagans wearing a crucifix seems almost trivial when people in church live together without marriage, and babies are aborted without comment as they take communion. The problem isn't with pagans, they don't know any better. I fear its with Christians accepting things they know they shouldn't.
