“Free Republic IS NOT a Republican forum, it is a CONSERVATIVE forum.

You are supporting the two of the most liberal candidates EVER to seek the GOP nomination. You are obviously confused about where you are.”

So sorry, oh so mighty one, I didn’t realize this was a private club!

Also, better do better on your research, you obviously haven’t seen all my posts!

Whatever, you love Rooty Toot and McLame, you also like Huckabee and claim to like Thompson (which is shocking) and you would be happy to vote for Romney. So, your preferences are any of the four liberals running (Rooty, Romney, McLame and Huckster). And here are all of your posts:

“You and other RINOs invariably think that Reagan was promoting compromise.”

...There you go again...when all else fails, gotta resort to name-calling, I guess.

Feel better now?

It is unbelievable that you feel the need to judge me and discriminate against one of your own (Republican). Is there no room for dialogue in here? Last time I checked, none of you seemed to be around...thankfully. I guess those were the good ‘ole days...

“NO, napscoordinator is a CONSERVATIVE, YOU are the one with the audacity to come into a conservative forum and push liberalism.”

Is name-calling the best YOU can do?

There, now that you’ve got you jabs in, I hope you feel much better now.

You know, a great American president, Ronald Reagan, once said, (”A political party cannot be all things to all people.” — Ronald Reagan, 3/1/75.)

...ever heard of that before?

“I just don’t know why someone would want to be here and waste their time if they are not fully conservative. There are plenty of moderate websites out there. I don’t think the person is liberal but certainly not conservative if seriously thinking this is a good idea of a ticket”

Oh my gosh! You truly are unbelievable!

What, so now you’re gonna bully me out of here? Gosh, no wonder some people think negatively about Republicans!

Gosh, no way! Do I “hear” some of you correctly? You’d rather have a Dem in the White House? That’s a huge chance Repubs would be taking!

Come on, now, you’re honestly saying there is NO common ground for Republicans to stand behind?

I’m a Repub, but I’ll never be a pouting one!!!!

Yes, I heard about the possible Clinton/Obama ticket...just this past week. Hillary’s no dummy.

And I agree, I’ll take ANY republican candidate over Hillary...and I still don’t feel like I’d be selling out.

I just like something in all the Repub candidates, well, ok maybe not so much McCain-—uh, let me think, well, alright, the surge is working.

It would be nice if all the good qualities in the candidates could be rolled up into one candidate.

Hey, I can still dream, you know! :o)

Without a doubt, Cinnamon, but my original point assumes that Fred or Romney won’t make it to the nomination.

As much as I prefer Rudy Giuliani for President, I just can't fathom voting against McCain and giving the White House to Hillary. Hopefully, most Republicans will see the lesser of two evils when casting their vote. How 'bout a Giuliani/McCain ticket (or vice versa) for Pres. & VP? Think Independents would come on board? I don't mean to sound like a desperate Republican, but sometimes you've just gotta call it like it is. :o)

My parents have been married 50 years, God bless their souls. I am SO PROUD of them! They've been through ups and downs, but always stayed true to the commitment. All of my friends' parents have been divorced.

Yes, I used to ask, "What's up with that?" every time I heard about someone's second divorce. Until it happened to me. First time, I wanted out. Second time, I wanted to stay in and fight. However, if the other party is determined to get out, you ultimately have no choice in the matter.

I don't ask anymore, having had my own taste of humble pie.
