Description of book:
At its heart, this book is a comforting companion and helpful counselor for average Christians interacting with the law, perhaps feeling bewildered, overwhelmed, or uneasy about how their legal situations align with their Christian morals and beliefs. The book is comprehensive in scope, but written in a friendly, conversational tone. The legal topics addressed are carefully selected to cover those most likely to be encountered by regular folks in the course of their everyday lives. By presenting a practical Christian perspective informed by God's rich array of relevant scriptural wisdom, this book will release multitudes of Christian believers from the tangled web of moral confusion and ethical compromise so often promoted and exacerbated by lawyers and the legal establishment. Readers will be enlightened, encouraged in their faith, and empowered in their ability to make sound decisions to honor that faith, even in the high-stakes, pressure-filled secular legal arena.

Stop by again later this evening, when special celebrity guests FReeper authors Alamo-Girl and betty boop plan to join the thread to add to the celebration.
FRiends, my book is one that challenges our destructive secular legal culture, and offers a positive, hopeful, and healing Christian perspective on the law. I pray it will be a blessing to you and many others!
Ping, read later.
Thanks, Rumple!
Congratulations!
Thank you - it’s an exciting time!
Congratulations! I have started writing many books. I have finished writing . . . 0. It’s an accomplishment.
Also, if you're working on nonfiction, it's often better to propose your ideas to publishers before the book is complete - - - they may like your concept, but want you to take a different approach. So it's better to submit your non-fiction proposals early.
Thank you - and thank you for your military service!

Good work. It sounds really worthwhile.
Thanks, Doug. It probably won’t provoke you into writing a new DFU song, but I do believe it will have a positive influence on our society.
A-h-h-h...the first book. I remember mine well. When I received a skid of boxes for public appearances and book signings and such, I opened up one of the boxes, picked up MY book, looked at the cover and floated through the house for at least an hour.
It’s a wonderful feeling.
And then you have to sell it, probably harder at times than writing the book.
If you need a few tips, let me know. I’m 8 books deep.
