Still as cool as it was yesterday! I did more reading on it-and ASUS-and I noticed that they underclocked the chip in order to keep it the temp down. I suppose fooling around with the clockspeed would be a little silly in a value toy like this but... There's also this from the article which is kinda cool,

"One crafty person has installed a HSDPA 3G modem inside their Eee, drastically taking its mobility to the next level: if WiFi and Ethernet aren’t enough, a global-roaming equipped SIM card lets the EEE get online whenever, wherever. Another creative mod is the swapping of the screen for a car touch screen panel."

There seem to be websites set up just for tracking the latest crazy mod...guess I’ll wait for the Jan 7 reports to see just what the new product will look like.....
