The ALLCAPS is from the NWS, not me.

I heard on the news this morning that this is the first ever Blizzard Warning issued in California. I'm not sure if that's accurate but that is what was reported. They said to expect 10 feet of snow by the end of the weekend.

This will be ascribed to global warming.

Any weather extreme is due to global warming - heat, cold, wet, dry, snow, whatever.

LOL....10 feet of snow in California is bound to put a cramp in the global warming nutters! Any guesses how they will spin this to support global warming hysteria?

Dang that global warming... err, climate change.... uh weather.

It’s dark and dreary in the Bay area right now, the wind is picking up and the rain should start at any time.

Fine by me because this state is absolutely beautiful when it greens up from the rains.

I mentioned this to some of my kids, who assembled here for Christmas, and they replied that the correct term for this phenomenon is “climate change,” not “global warming.”

I said, how convenient it is to change the wording like that when things come out differently than expected.

They replied that the correct term has ALWAYS BEEN “climate change.” It’s just that a few of the popularizers got it wrong.

So, in case you were wondering, that’s probably the response we will be hearing.

It is not global warming, it is now climate change! Don't you know anything. With climate change any odd weather can be blamed on man made global warming, I mean climate change.

Hey, I live in CA. I am not worried. I recycle, drive a high milage car, you know all the right stuff.
Just because its 9:30 am and only 35 degrees on my deck does not mean anything.
Global warming is real.

Sure! It has to get colder before it can get warmer!

Ten feet is entirely possible. Think "Donner Party".

I don't. These storms will get stuck in the mountains and linger. It is not unusual for just a minor storm to dump a couple feet in the Sierras.
