A .44 magnum doorbell button. :o)
Just got bored so started tinkering did not like my doorbell button so I modified it. The anti gun nuts ain't gonna like it.

Personally, I love it.
I once gave a friend a doormat that said “Do You Have A Warrent?” With her troublesome teens, she loved it.

I know a few have said it needs a new one, I have also covered the screws with brass inlaid buttons that also look like bullets shotgun shell ends.
I just got it up there Thanksgiving Day so it was not done until this weekend I need to take a few more pics.

It is actually 2 pieces of Oak 1x4’s with a routed out piece the back, which holds a wireless doorbell button, then the front is the bullet in the doorbell escution with a spring behind it. I cut the bullet then pinged out the edges to fit the brass insert it will not move outward any farther.
I still need to add some Spar Urathane to the wood.
