RIP; didn’t he also do a variety show in the 60s with
Regis Philbin as his sidekick?

I always liked the Rat Pack. Unconventional, but they were good friends and always had fun. I think they’ll all be missed.

Yep, one of the many attempts by ABC and CBS to take on the Tonight Show.

For a few years, they were great friends with JFK and his crowd until JFK's handlers recommended that he stay away from them because of the Mob connections that Sinatra had. They all kind of creeped me out. I still remember The Dean Martin Show and how he showed America what a singing drunk looked like.

According to Dean’s daughter, his glass was always full of apple juice. The drunk thing was an act.

I loved Joey Bishop. I saw his last show, when he walked off.

Regis is an arrogant arse!

My favorite line of Dean’s was:

“Last night I slept like a log.

And this morning when I rolled out of the fireplace....”

Rest in peace...to Joey, Dean, Sammy, Peter and Frank.

RIP, Joey Bishop

He did seem like a nice, funny fellow “back in the day”.
