Once a drunk reaches the point where he or she pukes everything up, it’s the only way to get drunk, other than direct injection. Of course, should the wife really be charged with murder? Is there such a crime as being an extreme enabler? That would be more appropriate.

Okay, a colleague had a patient show up in the ER back in the 80’s when the “coffee enema” was being touted as a holistic health aid. This Bozo read about it somewhere and decided to try it ( without checking out the details). So the guy dissolves an ENTIRE jar of freeze dried coffee in a quart of water and gives himself the enema.
Shows up in the ER an hour later, shaky sweaty and with a pulse rate of nearly 200 from his freakin massive caffiene OD.
Spent several days in the ICU but lived.
