Do you remember the regular season game against the Jets when the Dolphins got the ball down in goal to go range. Marino and the rest of the offense run up like they were going to spike the ball to stop the clock and the Jets D was just walking around. Marino fakes the spike and then throws a TD pass. Right at the end of the game!

One of my best memories of Marino comes from when he was still playing his college ball for Pitt. They were playing against Georgia in the Sugar Bowl I think (when UGA still had Herschel Walker), late in the 4th quarter facing a fourth and short, and trailing in the game. Pitt probably wouldn't get the ball back if it went over on downs. Instead of simply going for the first down, Marino rifles one deep down the middle for the TD and Pitt wins!
Another mystery with Marino - he slipped so far down the draft.
