yeah, baby. everyone wishes he could suck like a Yankee.
There is a curse that goes along with being a champion...
I'll drink to that! Welcome back, mg.
My brother-in-law is almost 60 years old, and has been a rabid Yankee fan since he was a kid. He was also a very good baseball player himself and was going to pitch in the minors before he blew out his arm.
He made his first trip ever to New York this week—brought his wife, kids and grandkid with him—and attended the last couple Yankee games. I’m sure he is a happy camper.
...they come from all over, wearing their pinstripes.

“cream always rises to the top.”
If you shake a jar of nuts the biggest nuts rise to the top. And you’d be a big nut to root for the overrated Yankees.

Is that the team that won a whole bunch of championships
LAST century? So far in the 21st century they have failed
to win. Hillary’s Team, the pinstripers.
Hey! There’s something Yankee and Red Sox fans can agree on. Kerry is a curse.
You left out something from the great Yankee fan’s letter:
My favorite thing is to see Dirk Jeeter run for a touchdown after catching a pass from my new favorite Yankee, Robinson Caruso. Like me, the Yankees care for the children, giving each child under the age of 14 an autographed basketball on that perennial favorite “Ball Day”.
Yup! By the way I used to poke fun at Yankee fans by saying that I was going to see the best team in NYC...
...the Mets...
...who were in first place went I went to Shea Stadium on
July 29...better record overall than the Yanks. Well,
it’s Aug 31 and the Mets are still in first in NL East
(though not by much) and Yanks are still in second in AL
East, but let the record state that the Yankees W-L
record is now better, barely, than the Mets. So I can’t
quite use that rationale anymore...for now.
WHEN I went...
I like J.D but he is a pansy.

Fixed it for you.
Andy “Petite”, er Pettite, couldn’t get it done. Now
Yanks play Seattle which has lost about 10 straight but if
M’s suddenly wake up they can attempt to overtake the Yanks
in wild card, if Det. doesn’t do it first
