I would suggest calling the local VFW chapters and perhaps the high school bands in your area. Perhaps even get in touch with your local recruiting stations or reserve stations.

I know that the lack of buglers and honor guards is becoming an increasing problem as we lose more and more of our WW2 and VietNam veterans. This breaks my heart. I wish I could help you.

I second the high school band recommendation. I haven’t played trumpet seriously for almost 20 years, but I could probably still do Taps in a pinch (it’s all open position). Of course, I’m in San Antonio, so I can’t help you there...
