also, I inadvertently put the wrong news source. It’s from KNOE.com
Louisiana, right? I caught the word “parish.”
May the officers truly rest in peace in the arms of the Lord;
I also pray for the EMT’s, and for the families of all involved.
May have missed it but just where is this happening?
Bastrop is about 70 miles from us. We live in S. Ark.
Bastrop, Louisiana. Northeast corner of the state near the Arkansas border.

Flashbangs?.......Should have been the other way round......
update from the 5:00 news. Still ongoing, one of the suspects is a white or hispanic female wanted for a homicide in the Houston area.
Where might this be?
I didn’t catch that. Thought it was Bastrop, TX. I was wondering why the local news in San Antonio didn’t have anything on it.
Local news just sniped your post on the info for the most part,,,to add : LASP SWAT TEAM is on standby,,,the whole
downtown area is being evacuated/shut-down,,,
And they shut off the phones ??

Bastop Texas, just east of Austin.
Police have identified a person of interest. She is 26-year-old Tonya Smith of Texas. Police say a vehicle was found at the hotel. They traced this vehicle back to Harris County, Texas, and they discovered a murder warrant was attached to the vehicle. Police say Smith is a suspect in that murder warrant.
Smith is described as either a white or hispanic female, 26 years old, 5’9” and about 150 lbs. She has brown hair and hazel eyes. She is believed to have two tattoos: one on her left wrist and another on her back right shoulder. The second tattoo is reported to be of a viking. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue jeans and driving a dark green Dodge. If you have any information on this suspect, call Bastrop police or State Police immediately.
At least six law enforcement agencies are on the scene.
