He has certainly earned the ass-terisk that will most certainly go by his name.

Now they’re gonna keep showing Giants games on ESPN till he breaks the record...Ste-roids...ste-roids...
To: raccoonradio
A-Rod hit #500 earlier today. No matter what HR total
the ass-terisk winds up with, Barry may eventually be
displaced...
whomever caught the ball, I wonder what the going price will be...

To be fair, I’m sure more than a few of the pitchers he faced were juiced up, too. It’s a pretty big problem in the MLB.

He’s an SOB. Aaron played every game and was/is a class act. And drug-free to boot.

To be honest I haven't followed MLB much for the past many, many years. Since I didn't, as a child, live in a baseball town, I listened to the St. Louis Cardinals at night on that blowtorch am station.
Back in those days I knew going into the season there would be Brock, Simmons, Sizemore. No team jumping. And if a batter leaned over the plate on Bob Gibson, Gibson was going to dust him. Nobody charged mound. It was just part of the game.
Lost interest years ago.

Boy! It was CLEAR he CREAMED that ball!

Yeah, the league has definitely lost a lot of the ‘magic’ it used to have back in the day (and by ‘the day,’ I mean up until the strike or so).

Every new homerun he hits now will set the record for MLB. Of course there is always Ohs record in Japan to shoot for now. Anyone think he will return next year to play?

ESPN just ran a Partnership for Drug-Free America PSA
about the dangers of steroids. I love it!

I know what you mean.
Bail Bonds is a fraud.

Bonds won’t have the record more than 6 or 7 years anyway.
