The BBC is calling ALGore's concert in London a "foul-mouthed flop" and showing pics of all the trash left behind.

I hope someone posts a thread today with all the DUmmie excuses for an anti-pollution concert creating so much trash.

I’m not awake enough to state my thoughts on this dang concert, but to put it bluntly..practice what you preach and get off the do as I say not as I do crud!
In regards to algore's concert, I am reminded of the big Earth Day celebration they had in Sanfrancisco a number of years ago. It was to mark the anniversary of this silly day.
The place the event was held was littered with trash. The pictures were priceless.
What's even more sad is that they want to remind school children how important this day is, but do nothing to remind them about Memorial Day. (We now do at our District!)
By taking care of your own first, strangers don't have to..government doesn't have to.
I can remember my Gramp having 3 jobs to support his own family as well as his parents..to some extent. He never whined..never complained. He thought it was his duty. BUT, when a needy person came to the door, Gram wrapped up sandwiches and Gramp cut his pork chop in half to share.
AND that's what makes America GREAT!
Thank goodness for families like yours. They are the backbone of America!

I see Edwards is going to embark on a poverty tour through the southern states.
Nothing worse than a millionaire going around lecturing everyone how to take care of the poor, when the rich man continues to live in rich houses, and remains aloof to those in plight.

I heard a snippet of Edwards' talk before a union....he said that his parents and brother had health insurance, thanks to the union. My thought at the time was why HE, with all his million$, had not provided his own parents w/such insurance.
Unthinkable!
Why is it that all of these wealthy libs seek to demonize those that have wealth, and want to anger the ones that don't have the money?
And the ones that aren't as wealthy don't see the hypocrisy?

And speaking of humor, one of my favorite movies will be on TCM today at noon: "I know where I'm Going"...
Another old movie, b & w., but beautifully photographed in Scotland. Lots of love and appreciation expressed in the movie for just "everyday" folks and the land they love...and for animal lovers, there are some wonderful scenes with big dogs, etc. LOL!
