More than once my friends here have kept me up when I was so down, makes me smile when I have that dooms day frown on my face, makes my problems so unimportant when I read of others with greater problems than I. I feel each day that I am with these friends sitting at their table drinking coffee and laughing. I am so blessed...

I have been TIVOing the Nifong thing on Court TV. I could NOT believe his abosulte arrogance! Haven’t watched the news today but am DELIGHTED if he is indeed disbarred.

To bad I wasn’t on that panel. He would have been hung up to dry. Disbarrment wasn’t enough for what he did to those young people and their parents.
I hope that the parents sue him, and I also hope that - as someone on another thread suggested - they reopen all of his cases. I’ll bet there are others he has railroaded.

It’s unusally hot and muggy here in the Midwest. This is July weather.
I will never plant Wave Petunias again. They are the thirstiest little wenches I’ve ever tried to grow. They just keep wilting in the heat and wind. It seems all I do is carry water to them. I finally drug out the hoses for watering purposes.
My rain barrel is practically empty. There’s nothing but a muddy gruel on the bottom. Today I will clean it out if there’s time to do it. There is rain predicted for tomorrow, which will be most welcomed if it arrives.
