I loaded up a wheelbarrowful of horse compost to side-dress the 'maters and cukes. The zucchini are on there own. I can't imagine fertilizing those. It would be like having a candlelit dinner for rabbits. :-)

Roses, use miracle grow. Me? I use it once a week on my flowers too.

I have been told that horse manure is not as good a cow manure is, I make a soup out of either and that works good for me. Store bought 8-8-8 is strong enough when used with the natural stuff.

Crashed early yesterday after smoking all day.

Still plenty of leftovers so after we got back from the pool today, I just threw it all on the grill to reheat and that was dinner.

Kids all had fun in the pool today and Mr. Zaybot cried when we left because he loved the water too much.

Resting my swollen joints now and regrouping before the game.

Boychild/man has volunteered to drive the pixies home so I can rest.

This sounds like a good idea, think I will throw a swimming party for the youth group in our church.

Several of the men fold leaving Monday to go to Penn to help on repairs of housing there, and to help build a new church. Wish I could go but can’t, aching joints, etc. I go for some Harmonie, er,er, cortisone shots in my knees this week.....that was a slip....big one....

R went to DD’s to get coffee, donuts for my pre-game rest up.

Zay LOVES grammas cooking. He has also been very clingy lately and won’t let me out of his sight.

The other night I was washing dishes and he was hanging out with me...he loves to pretend he’s “pushing” me around the kitchen...he got so excited over this the other night and wound up tugging my pants down...that just cracked him up.

We have eaten. I fed the cats and dogs. They have been potty. I'm done for the night.

Just rescued a baby snapping turtle from our pond. Nasty animals, so we took him about 3 miles away to the river.

Shutting down for the night. I'm tired. I hope I can stay awake for the game.

Ok, I have some, I’ll do the rose bush in the front. I have an antique mini climbing rose that I want Roomey to move from it’s shady area to fence in the back. Hopefully the spirit will move him to do so. It’s a pretty little white rose.
