Linux infringes on a lot more patents than just Microsoft’s, and why wouldn’t it since it’s a foreign clone of an original US product to begin with. You don’t have to take Microsoft’s word for it either, just ask Richard Stallman “the father of free software” who openly admits it. One of the lawyers that works for him at the FSF did a patent study that showed about 300 possible infringements in the Linux kernel alone.

Microsoft is a dinosaur. It's two best selling products, OS and Office are mature. Vista and Office2007 do not offer significant improvements. Microsoft is like Cadillac 30-40 years ago with new tailfin designs each model year. Microsoft stock used to at least double each year. It's been flat since the 1999-2000 tech blowout

There are a lot of bored greedy useless eaters at Microsoft. So what do they do? They try to rip off Linux, sue Linux somehow to bring in some more money. Vista sucks. I have an old unopened copy of Windows XP Pro. Last December it was going for $70 on Ebay. These days I can get $170 because Vista sucks. I'm gonna unload it soon

Dell is selling XP computers now because of the disgust with Vista. Office2007 gets low ratings.
