For those that don't believe the picture comes from Louisiana, these other animals at the same location helps narrow down where the picture was taken. The opossum and bear range only overlaps in a few places. One being in Louisiana!

Very cool! Now if we can just get a death match between the cougar and a bear on the cam, we’ll really have some entertainment.
7 years ago a deer hunter in a stand in NE Mississippi reported having seen a cougar. It was chasing a deer right below the tree stand the hunter was in. It was on my property and the hunter came to me and we went and checked out the tracks...It was not that of a bobcat, just bigger. Travelers driving down HW 45 saw it in a field and reported having seen a big cat. That was it....gone...
RUN POSSUM RUN!...oh oh...to slow.
I have another picture I will ad soon that shows the cougar with an even larger meal! They got the first roll of film back with the opossum and staked out some food for the cougar. Well they have got a picture on the second roll of film that shows the cougar hauling off their bait!
