Maybe if she sold Snake Oil she wouldn’t have gone to the jug.

if she was doing seances for $$$$, she was certainly a flim-flam artist.Not necessarily. Your assumption appears to be that all persons dealing with the paranormal are ipso facto frauds. But I am open to the possibility that some may be genuine.
