Well, the cable guy came...pulled everything apart...was extremely confused and puzzled....and said he'd be back tomorrow.....with his supervisor....and when my husband can be here to explain his set up: 2 VCRs and 3 "black" cable boxes,which has all worked very well for several years until 2 days ago.
Now I'm waiting for the AC man to arrive.

Molly, I'm sorry to hear that your cable tech could not fix the problem. It's frustrating waiting for a repairman to show up and then not solving the problem. Plus, you have to wait again today. Sheesh!

I'm okay, but the cable guy has to come back with his supervisor, and the AC man never made it, and is rescheduled for today. At least my husband will be here to help wait them out, listen to the phone when they call, etc...
