After Imus, DeLay Calls for Rosie to Be Fired Wants Conservatives to Lead Anti-O'Donnell Push AOL (April 13) -- Fanning the flames of discontent sparked by the Imus controversy, former congressman Tom DeLay is making a plea for his fellow conservatives to get Rosie O'Donnell fired for recent remarks she made.

Bad idea. Let the nazis show themselves, don’t give them cover.

I agree. I cannot stand Rosie O’Donnell or her show, but I think this Imus thing is ridiculous and do not believe our side needs to climb into the gutter with the speech nazis.

I think Rosie should be fired. She has made many racist remarks on that show, and performed disgusting acts as well.
If CBS is cleaning house, they may as well sweep the whole floor.

She stereo-types blondes, calling them dumb. She stereo types Texans, calling them dumb red neck gun toting yokels. She bashes Christians, Jews, Chinese, Japanese, just about everyone except fat lesbians with mental disorders.

Why should she be exempt?

OK, you can vote to save Toyko Rosie here.

Or not.

I guess we should saved Ward Churchill too.

Rosie gets better ratings than Imus, that’s the bottom line.

If Imus actually had decent ratings, he would have never been fired.

I’m really not understanding this call by DeLay. It seems anti-conservative to silence speech. Conservatives let their opposition say what they want and then hold them accountable.

Maybe DeLay has a bit of a revenge thing going on? Not that he doesn’t deserve revenge but I don’t think he should pull conservatives into it.

If conservatives really did hold democratics responsible for what they say, they would have far more power now.

‘Why should she be exempt?’
I know its sad but shes exempt because of the exact thing that she is, a fat lesbian with a mental disorder.
Now what kind of people would we be if we ridiculed a person that is so deranged?(sarc)

She has made many racist remarks on that show

And anti-American ones, adn general hate speech (which in her case is pretty much defined as whatever comes out of her mouth.)
