As a Kevin Smith fan I have to say that this will be the first one of his movies that the critics will LOVE, and the first I will refuse to even see.

Once really funny guy who was tolerably preachy jumps the shark.

So much for "Silent Bob".

Snoochy Bootches, Bickety-Bam, we'll miss you, bro.

Perhaps I should make my previous post a little clearer in case Kevin, who is net savvy, ever sees this thread.

Dude, we (red staters) revile this guy.
This class act of a guy, who claims to speak for God, protests at funerals of soldiers.
He goes around with the philosophy of "God Hates Fags" which is absurd and offensive, and yes, even to red staters, believe it or not.

What in the world makes you think that ANY of this represents the philosophy of "red staters"?

Do you actually know any Republicans/Conservatives/Red Staters or do you have your own really inaccurate echo chamber preconceptions that you are working from?

To promote a connection between this incredibly sick individual and the rank and file of "red staters" is offensive in a way that I'm not used to you being offensive (offensively ignorant as opposed to offensively funny).

I saw in an interview that you have a gay brother, I have gay relatives as well, and do you know what?
They are Rush Limbaugh listening, Republican supporting, Red State, Log Cabin Republicans.

No joke.

Not that any of this will make a difference, I would just really hate to no longer respect you or your work.
