Yes, I think so too. I am glad they are someone else's memory though, the memories would make me ancient. ;)
The silence broke
I found my voice
and I began to sing.
I took a train out of Anchorage and looked
at Mt. McKinley
every day- I began to sing
of mountains I have crossed
of mountains I have prayed to
of mountains yet to cross
and the mountains between us.
Of the mountains of strength that is us
built boulder by boulder in lean times
and sad, happy times together
and knowing our commitment
is forever in the stars
together
we are the mountain without a name.
