As with Cindy Sheehan, Britney is being encouraged by rotten people who surround her to do things that are not good for her mental health.

Ultimately the responsibility lies with Britney/Cindy for their own actions but they both clearly need some help.

[shakes head sadly] This girl is a total train wreck--is there not a single person in her life to reign her in??? :-( As far as her hair goes, it's really sad that they are trying to make a fast buck with it...Locks of Love is a much better organization to donate to, and it's sad that they didn't offer to do that with Britney's hair--the free publicity would have really helped them out. (My 6 y/o daughter and I have both donated before, and we're growing our hair out again to donate again.)

Britney is worried about her Mom's reaction. I really don't think she even realizes that she is now a mother herself. This girl has had a psychotic break from reality, not uncommon for post-partum moms. It happened to Brooke Shields but she had loving people to care for her.

I wife donates about 2 feet of hair to them yearly. Her hair grows faster than weeds and is beautiful.
