In a saga that just won't die, Donald Trump wrote a letter Tuesday to Rosie O'Donnell in response to media reports of her blow-up at Barbara Walters, telling her she had the right to be angry and saying Walters "lied to both of us."
The tone of Trump's Jan. 9 letter, sent to FOX News and other press outlets, is snide — and some of his allegations about Walters' recent grumblings over O'Donnell, whom she hired last year to be the moderator on "The View," are shocking.
"In fact, she lied to both of us!" Trump wrote in the one-page letter, which he sent to O'Donnell at ABC Studios in Manhattan. "After your maniacal and foolish rant against me two weeks ago, Barbara called me from her vacation (I did not call her) in order to apologize for your behavior. She had heard that I was going to retaliate against you and tried to talk me out of it."
Trump claims Walters tried to persuade him to come on "The View" when she returned from vacation so that she could "patch things up," but he said no.
"To be exact, she said that 'working with her [O'Donnell] is like living in hell' and, more pointedly, 'Donald, never get into the mud with pigs' and 'don't worry, she won't be here for long,'" Trump wrote. "Barbara knows exactly what she told me over the phone and she has to live with it."

I love his avuncular advice to Rosie at the end, "for her own good." Coup de grace...
FINALLY....someone after my own heart...what a piece of crap on a television station...if they have to stupe this low to fill a spot....they should shut down....I don't like any of them...except for Elizabeth...I feel sorry for her, she's way to classy to be with that low gutter trash of the other three....

He's hardly my good buddy. In fact he's kind of a jerk. But it's fun watching his little spar with Rosie.
I admit I didn't follow Trump's bankruptcy that closely. Do you have his balance sheets to prove what happened?

Trump always has done this. If you ever say or write some thing bad about someone else to Trump, he will call, fax or write that person and let thejm know what you said. I know people he has done this to. I know of a letter that was faxred to someone else with Trump's trademark fat black marken pen scrawl saying "Look what he thinks of you".
Barbara Walters i'm sure did say these things about Rosie and Trump is bit miffed that Walters is publicly denying what she told him.

If Walters publically misrepresented what she said in private, in fact making Trump look like a liar, then she absolutely deserved to have her true comments made public.
