That song brings back a lot of memories. I'm probably among the youngest of Americans to actually have been a Reagan Democrat and to remember quarter juke boxes. Gordon Lightfoot's epic was always my pick when it was my turn to put a quarter in when hanging out at the local pizza parlor with high school friends . . . because you got your money's worth.
I still play that song every November in memory of the brave men who died doing their job.
