Since yesterday I've received +200 of these pump and dump spam emails touting this company. All of them originating from Asian or Euro mailservers.

Interesting in that the company name and the spam both contain the word petroleum but the company itself is listed as Sector: Technology Industry: Software & Programming

These are usually automated repeats.... mayhaps with an embedded email worm
The more you answer or try to unsubscribe... the more "copies" are regenerated and resent to/thru your own email lists...

They're common. Along with the ones that push fake Rolexs and viagra.
Depending on how it's generated... a lot of spammers use a random number or character generator to preface the return, like this:
alamjr4@msn.com
That "4" will get replaced by something else next cycle, so you block it with a wildcard:
alamjr*@msn.com
Of course, you could just block everything from msn.com /grin!

My blocklist is still growing, over 1800 so far.
We had a “Spam Attack” at my work place a few weeks ago. We not only all got tons of spam on various topics in our individual inboxes, we all got out of office replies and admin and spam filter reject notifications because our email addresses were used as the sender to even more emails to people unknown. Some of the emails were in German.
I came in that morning with over 400 emails in my inbox from overnight. These people need to be shot when caught. What a mess.
