Axl Rose said, when The Spaghetti Incident - their album of filler and throwaway covers - was released, that the band was working on a new album of original material.

That was November 1993.

So they have been working on this album for 13 years, not nine.

There is no way this album could ever be good enough to live up to the hype, assuming it actually exists.

I think there was a song called "sweet child of My-eee-I-nnnnn." Grates on your nerves after a while.

Guns N' Roses without Slash is just N' Roses...

Which is why the two of them should get together atain. They're depriving us of some great music.

Sweet Child O' Mine (the only GNR song I like)
Welcome to the Jungle (don't care for much)
Paradise City (which I hate)

There are a number of tracks going around on the web.

It's not clear how many of those tracks are more than raw demos or how many of them would actually wind up on the album if it is ever officially released.

Looks like Axl has gained a little weight.

Instead of going the hair transplant way such as other celebs (Ex: John Travolta, Sly Stallone, Matthew McConaughey, Wade Boggs), he's gone this weird urban style whig looking thing ... terrible move, Axl!

It looks like he has the flesh-colored chinstrap model.

Yep, if there's no Slash, it's not GnR, it's an Axl Rose solo album.

Yep, he did the same thing when I saw him with Body Count and Metallica in Denver. 3 songs and then he throws a fit about some monitor or amp giving feedback, throws down the mic after cursing the crew and walks out amidst boos and a rain of beer cups and trash.

Speaking of that...check out Robin Williams' wierd new hairline. I don't think it was rehab he was hiding away at.

"Sweet Child O' Mine (the only GNR song I like)"

And I can't even listen to that anymore without thinking of Sheryl Crow's crappy, dull, lifeless cover of it. Sheryl Crow, you SUCK.

I still love the rest of Appetite and GnR Lies, though - awesome albums.
