The Ryder Cup has begun with the four-ball matches at the K Club in Ireland.
You can follow hole-by-hole scoring here :

Looks like a perfect day over there.
team USA has to get off to a good start if they are going to win the cup.
Glad they are off this morning - there was quite a storm that passed through last night.
Well, it should be broadcasting now.
Cheers to Irish FReepers!
Will check in during tomorrow's matches.
Thanks for posting the thread.
Ping for later.
Europe up 2 1/2 to 1 1/2 after morning session.
Furyk played well in the top match. Woods, Monty and Harrington never really fired at all.
Second match was interesting, US coming back from 3 down to lead by one, then Europe fighting back for the half. Very impressed with JJ Henry, who I know nothing of prior to this.
Garcia and Olazabal cruised through the third.
Impressive victory for Clarke and Westwood over Michaelson and DiMarco in the bottom match. Great to see the emotional welcome for Darren Clarke on the first tee and to see him back doing what he does best.
The couse is available for download for the golf game "Links 2003". Nice course. The last few holes are really terrific.

Great comeback by Johnson and Campbell to halve the match after being down 2 with 3 to play. 3-2 is the overall score.
Furyk just snap hooks it into the water on 18 from the middle fo the fairway. Woods/Furyk lose 2up....4-2 now.
Damn, to have a shot we needed to at last halve all of Tiger's matches, not good.
DiMarco and Mickelson are grinding.....1 up thru 16. Gator hit a horrible tee shot on 17 but Hefty hit a world class recovery shot. Hopefully Chris can make the putt...
Come on Chris, you're not only representing the US, you're representing UF.
Garcia is now 7-0 in four-ball.........too bad he can't win a tournament on his own...;-)
Exactly...;-)
Mickelson and DiMarco are dormie now.
Really need DiMarco and Mickelson and Cink/Toms to win their matches. That would make it 4-4
Cink/Toms halve. 4.5-2.5 now.
