Women often have careers interrupted by being mothers.
Men typically can work right through.
When women have worked straight through, I've read they have earned more money and gone as high or higher than a similar guy.
So, despite what the Prof says about IQ, it is the interruption of motherhood that has made a difference in the workplace IMO.
