It's plain wrong that Asians should compete, or blacks, or whites or Hispanics? Unfair for someone, perhaps?

Sorry, couldn't disagree more. I think it'll be fascinating to see how the tribes mix during merges. Who will naturally join up with their 'fellows' and who will latch onto others for realistic reasons rather than racial ones.

It should be fascinating television to watch.

Yes, it is just plain wrong for the show contestants to be segregated by race and pitted against each other.

The last thing America needs is more racial division. We are a melting pot, not a salad bowl. CBS should be ashamed of this crude attempt to balkanize America.

Racism needs to be relegated to the dustbin of history, once and for all. CBS's idea for "fascinating" TV only divides us as a nation.

If ANY of the contestants had a problem with this new twist, they could have gotten out of this version of Survivor. No one was holding a gun to their heads to stay. Looks like the lure of possibly winning a cool mil trumps all other concerns on installment 13. And while I'm at it, why did they wait till the 13th incarnation to do this? 13 is supposed to be an unlucky number. There are many instances to back that up, chief among them is Apollo 13's saga. seeBS could really be in trouble with this one. It'll be interesting to see how this one will play out.
