The wolf hybrids and possibly purebred wolves were licensed as mixed breed dogs and the woman sold many pups as wolves.

Maybe she was mean to them.

They're as gentle as pit bulls.

There's a woman in our town that has wolf hybrids and she keeps her three big dogs in a tiny house. Whenever the lady sees someone coming, she steps to the side and shortens the lease so they can't get anyone. They've growled and lunged at my 14 year old just walking down the street. She told me herself they've bit each other and scarred each other. It's only a matter of time before they get someone else and I hope it's not an innocent party, especially some child.

With wolves you are dominant until they decide you aren't. Occasional dominance testing is inbred.

Hybrids are dangerous animals. I understand there has never been a record of a wild wolf killing a human. Has anyone else heard this?

My choc. lab gets tough with me when I trim his nails.
I can't imagine trying to groom a wolf-hybrid.

Well, the humans did pull it out some time in Paleolithic [where do the dogs come from?], so domesticating wolves is in principle doable. But then one better know how to do it.

"Whenever the lady sees someone coming, she steps to the side and shortens the lease"
Shortening the lease is what the unscrupulous landlords do. The hybrids should sue.

A wolf that runs on batteries when it gets tired.

Well, the humans did pull it out some time in Paleolithic [where do the dogs come from?]...

Over several millennia, yeah, but not in one or two generations. I was considering getting one of those spotted housecats, three generations removed from wild, till I researched them (gotta love the internet!) - they're still wild, destructive and unhousebroken. And too small to make much of a rug when you get tired of them.
