Your wife may want to refresh herself on the game. Z.Z. was tossed in the 111th minute. Trezeguet was brought on in the 100th minute to replace Ribery.Thanks for the info, I'll let her know after we "celebrate". : )

I read on another board that Zidane is an Algerian muslim living in France. Anyone know if that is true?
To: Normal4me
That is excellent thanks.
You(they?) got to do one of the french coach who repeatedly tossed his hands like a girl, and one of the french goalie who kept acting like he was lifting his skirt. lol!

I read today that Zidane was born in Marseille, France. Maybe his parents are from Algeria I don't know.

I stole it off Fark.com. They have a big thread running over there.

That is correct -- a self-described "non-practicing Muslim."

I was shocked at Zidane's head-butt of the Italian player. I'm very happy that Italy won, the head butt was an amazing display of Frenchness.
We shouldn't be too surprised though, the French gave us a blind sided head butt on Iraq and it wasn't too many years ago the French tried to cheat the Canadian skating team in the Olympics. Zidane was just being French!

Non-practicing, eh? Well, that explains a head-butt rather than a beheading I suppose. ;'}
To: battletank
non-practicing?? dang, the local imam will be over to visit him with his henchmen since it's obviously a violation of sharia law..in somalia, those that don't pray 5 times a day are killed..

Shouldn't it be Zidane, you stinking Algerian? Out of curiosity was there anyone on the French side who was born in France?

Ditto on your thoughts!
What a dispicable act. I was shocked at his temper tantrum. How fitting that they lost.

Zidane has been described as the class act of the French Team.
