I don't want to hear the hard-working spin any more .. the hard workers are (as best as I can determine) .. honestly trying to;
a) make money and support their back-in-Mexico families and/or
b) trying to do the right thing and be here legally.

..and I think THEY are a minority of the ones that come in.

I have CRS so I don't have stats and numbers ... but I recall a high percentage of illegals fill the jails and prisons of our southwest.

Frankly, if I were a Mexican teenager I'd try to get out of that country and into the US, unless I had been fortunate enough to be born into the wealthy and privileged Mexican families.

Hell, even if you're a criminal, are you going to make a better living robbing in America or in Mexico?
