“This whole thing STINKS so bad that even Je$$ie Jackson and Sharpton (Twanna Bradley) are keeping low key,” wrote Nick, referencing the Tawana Brawley case in New York Rev. Sharpton was involved in many years ago.

including her limited criminal record

Lots of us have zero criminal record. How many felonies are considered a limited record?

I really don't understand why it is that an athlete is thought to be a Saint in this country! I see this locally all of the time. When our college football or basketball stars commit crimes the fans and the media protect them at all costs. What is this all about anyway???

“Please join your ‘sisters’ IN AFRICA!!!! And take your ‘brothers’ with you.”

Thomas Jefferson suggested the same thing. Liberia was even founded to be a homeland for relocated American blacks.

"Duke Case Victim Target of Hate"

When the word victim was used, I thought the article was referring to one of the lacrosse players.

Well, this clears the issue up enormously. The 'victim' only has a limited criminal record and she was just being an innocent stripper at that party. And those other men she falsely accused of rape and attempted murder - hey, that was nothing, really. And the trips to hotel rooms for one-on-ones - well, a girl has to make a living for heavens sake. And if she was drunk or drugged up that night, well those evil young Duke men must have drugged her.

No wonder they're aghast that her credibility and character should be attacked. What a sweetheart this young woman is. I never realized it before.

I think she initially was scared when she ended up at hospital she would lose her kids when it was found out that she was a stripper so she went for the rape story again thinking it would be a quick fix. But then a DA was in an election at the time and she got caught up in that and now cannot get out. So...while ruining her life, she is ruining others along with it.

One of the bottom lines of this whole story is that it is a shame a girl can make more money working as a stripper for men's parties that she can working an honest job. That this is so, says a lot for our society which we like to think is the best in the world.
