"Bonds on Bonds," the ESPN reality series featuring the San Francisco Giants slugger, will go on hiatus after two more shows, and is unlikely to return on a regular basis, the Los Angeles Times said Thursday. Bonds tied Babe Ruth for No. 2 on the all-time home run list at 714 last week, but has hit just six homers this year and Hank Aaron's record 755 is a long way off. Meanwhile, St. Louis slugger Albert Pujols has hit 23 home runs. "If Barry was hitting home runs at Albert Pujols' pace, we would continue," producer Mike Tollin said. The series, which began airing April 4, was scheduled to air Thursday at 4 p.m. in its regular half-hour format. There will be a one-hour wrap-up show Monday at 4 p.m., and that's it, at least for now.

I think the title of the show should have been:
B*nds *n B*nds
It must have been getting creamed in the ratings, that's clear.
Thanks for injecting a little humor into this thread.
But Barry didn't know about that.
Undetectable, the cream, the clear
Some injectable, right in my rear
Like a shot of stuff for human growth
Do one cheek, then go and do 'em both
Never before
Have steroids been more
Undetectable in every way
Unconnectible, that's how I'll stay
Look at me, see the incredible
Bulk I've gained but not by edible
Means I gained it from some spreadable goo
Unregrettable, well worth the risk
Record-settable, no asterisk
Chasing Aaron, catching up to Ruth
Couldn't care less if I tell the truth
What matters more
Is home runs galore
Undetectable each time I pee
Random-testable, you won't catch me
As for me, it's incontestable
What this does is so incredible:
Swells my head and shrinks my testicles too
It was getting creamed...
...but Bonds thought it was just flaxseed.
Very slick!!
