You're right.. you didn't mention that. You just wanted to stir the pot and then act surprised when you get flamed for it ;~D
Only as often as I am attacked by anything (dog, bear, person) and happen to have a torch lit up and I'm in a good position to use it on whatever is attacking me...
One has to wonder if the dog just has a case of gunge botton.
You know, the people who come here and purport to propose "civil" discussion, but who really want to be disruptive and argumentative.
The person you posted "don't cry" to, was obviously upset by the harm this dog had endured.
To say "don't cry", in my opinion, is very callous.
Furthermore, we all know why you are here, so why pretend otherwise??
LOL...aren't they doing one...??
I think with a younger governess?
"jerk, freak, ..." Are these names necessary?
"You know, the people who come here and purport to propose "civil" discussion, but who really want to be disruptive and argumentative."
I am not disruptive; you are overreactive.
I am argumentative. Practice your debate, cease petty name-calling, and don't assume the worst motives of people you disagree with. Then you too can argue effectively.
"The person you posted "don't cry" to, was obviously upset by the harm this dog had endured."
So my advice to him was sound.
"Furthermore, we all know why you are here, so why pretend otherwise??"
You are simply paranoid.
Calm yourself, then say something insightful. Or drop the whole matter, as I greatly wish we would.
thank you....sometimes I think only my wife thinks I'm funny....and she is a known liar
LOL- I always enjoy your posts! Your wife is a lucky gal :)
Ok, dropped.
What a sad story...that poor baby. So many people on this thread really understand and love dogs. Dogs are the best when it comes to letting their people who is not a good "person". My Chow is great at this, and will growl and bark at someone she doesn't trust...she's never been wrong.
It's obvious, from the posts on this thread, who is dog-lover and who relishes playing the part of sceptic.
I don't know of any attack dogs that would revert to a cuddly, clingy personality after being hurt. The sort of dog that would crave human affection even after being hurt like that is one that would have before, as well.
I can't even put into words the rage I'm feeling about this. I'm sure a number of high-minded freepers will care to share with me how dogs like these are deserving of this kind of treatment, etc. (How many holier than thou Freepers have chest-thumped about shooting, poisoning, etc. any so-called dangerous breed?)
If I ever have the opportunity to come across the POS who did this to this poor dog, he'll get a mauling like no rott could dish out.
This seriously made me nauseated to see. What is wrong with some people? I am happy that dogs forget and can 'move on' but I hope this sicko gets what he deserves some day.
Certainly. Last time a dog attacked me, I was going to shoot it with the 9mm I was carrying, but instead ran into the garage, grabbed my blowtorch/ sulphuric acid, ran back out, wrestled the dog to the ground, and burned his ass for several minutes. That'll teach the little bastard. </sarc>
Is there proof that dogs move on and forget? Because I thought they remembered their abuse and if beaten for long periods just become damaged goods.
