I know the thread will be banished to the cheesehole, but we need some levity.

This story is ancient. They even covered this one in one of the earliest episodes of mythbusters. I think they declared it feasable.

Hello,
OMG, that is so pathetic. But, I am proud that she kept her head during such difficult and scary times...

I'm in Dallas and here they're celebrating the Pillsbury Doughboy. There are signs all over town that read "he is risen."

A brunette was running up and down a river bank, looking for a way to cross. A blonde on the other side saw her and yelled "What are you doing?" The brunette said "I'm trying to find a way to get to the other side!". The blonde replied "Silly, you are on the other side!".

This has got to be an urban myth now.
The last time I read the identical story with perhaps different names, was about three years ago...

Perfect Friday night tale, especially after FR's been down. I prefer to believe it's true tonight. Tomorrow, I may read the Snopes link.

Linda is a blonde, but I'm certain that's irrelevant.
I'm sure that you're wondering why I am responding to such an old post. But I received the story via e-mail from my sister this week and was considering posting it myself.
My sister's message, however, contained one subtle change.
Linda is a blonde,and a democrat, but I'm certain that's irrelevant.
Small change, big improvement, don't you think?
