...and the video shows the trio as leads in The Crucible, Arthur Millers play based on the Salem witch trials. Onward and upward...to professional victim status.

I guess they're still "not ready to" sell albums, either.

Well, at least they got the witch thing down right. I saw the video, heard the song and I am still not impressed. I am honest enough to say that I did like their earlier music but I don't care who the President is-you don't go into a foreign country and knock the commander in chief. But, that's not the only reason I have no interest in them or their music any more. They got down right hateful toward their fans and I cannot forgive them for it.

The people in "The Crucible" were crushed to death under stone walls after being falsely accused of Satanism. The Dixie Chicks lost some radio airplay for attacking their president on foreign soil in front of a huge crowd as their troops were heading into harm's way. Obviously, the same thing.

My country station ought not play them...I guess the Vichy Chix don't want to be listened to by country music fans any more. Heck, even Willie Nelson is really listened to by the old school and his diehards now. Ridiculous.

The Dixie Chicks "died" on March 10, 2003, but they live on like a pestering poltergeist.
